Swallows FC have canceled a major transfer deal with Kaizer Chiefs despite agreement being made.

Swallows FC have made the confirmation that deal to sell Ruzaigh Gamildien to Kaizer Chiefs has been called off.

"We have to continue as planned because his departure (Gamildien) was going to interrupt our planning as well. We are very happy that he is no longer leaving the club" - Swallows FC CEO Sipho Xulu

The 32-year-old striker netted 11 times in 24 games in the league in the past DSTV Premiership season. Gamildien is already back in Gauteng for a pre-season training with Swallows FC. His performance in the club made him one of the stand-out performers last season which went on to earn him a national team call-up.

The CEO further confirmed that everything regarding the deal was signed but they were just waiting for the Kaizer Chiefs transfer ban to be lift so the move could be finalised. As things stand, we will be seeing Gamildien in Swallows FC colours next season and not Kaizer Chiefs colours.
