DStv premiership club Chippa United has shown interest on signing the 25 years old Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa.He suffered the injury in December 2020 which took him out of the field till later in the DStv premiership season.Lepasa was loaned by Orlando Pirates to Stellenbosch FC and Ts Galaxy where he won the Nedbank Cup in 2019 against Kaizer Chiefs.
This season Lepasa has managed to get three league appearances and two in the Nedbank Cup having lost in the Nedbank Cup to Marumo Gallants on penalties.Chippa United is expected to loose number of players including Bienvenu Eva Nga a Cameroonian who is linked to Kaizer Chiefs.
According to Siya crew sources Chippa United is willing to sign Zakhele Lepasa only if he is available on loan.Chippa Mpengesi tried to sign Lepasa in 2019 unfortunately he couldn't succeed.Orlando Pirates will be up against Simba SC this weekend in the CAF Confederations Cup.
