Kaizer Chiefs have issued an important update on the injury of their players; the Glamor Boys are preparing their Nedbank Cup game against GladAfrica Championship team Richards Bay. The Zimbabwean international Khama Billiat has been ruled out for two months due to the injury that he sustained during the game against Amazulu last month. Billiat’s inconsistent form at Kaizer Chiefs has been a cause of worry for the team’s supporters.

Kaizer Chiefs said ‘’Three and half weeks into his injury Khama has started gym exercises and is now out of the boot’’, Khama Billiat is not the only player who is currently injured at the club, Ramahlwe Mphahlele has also been ruled out because of injury he sustained during the game against TTM. Though there has been progress, the Glamor boys have announced that the former Mamelodi Sundowns defender will go through scan today.

Mphahlele was the captain of the club, now Nurkovic is a stand-in captain of the club due to the absence of Mphahlele who missed the past three DStv Premiership games. Kaizer Chiefs will play against Richards Bay on the 7th of February 2021 and the game is scheduled for 15:00.
