Even though he recently won the MTN8 trophy, it seems like Josef Zinnbauer's job at Orlando Pirates is still not yet safe. According to Soccer Laduma, Pirates are reportedly to be strategizing a Plan B for life after Zinnbauer, should they part ways with him at some point in time.
It was recently reported that Pirates management are watching Zinnbauer's results with a keen eye as the sources have indicated that the hierarchy are very concerned with the recent inconsistent results.
The insider's at the Buccaneers have revealed that the management had been watching the training sessions of which are not as per the club’s normal process. The Buccaneers have inquired Eric Tinkler's availability should they part ways with Zinnbauer at some point in time.
Tinkler is currently jobless at the moment after being axed by Maritzburg United and is reported to be taking time to decide about his next move. In a recent radio interview, the chairman Dr Irvin Khoza did not ruled out Tinkler's possibility to return to the Buccaneers as a coach. But Khoza said that would happen if there is space.
