The Premier Soccer League continued on Saturday 25 September and it was an interesting day for football action. We saw a lot of goals being scored by some of the football teams in the league. Mamelodi Sundowns walked away victorious against the Buccanneers at Orlando Stadium. Last season's league challenges Amazulu FC walked away with all three points in Durban against the Limpopo boys, Baroka FC. Stellenbosch took all three points against Chippa United. Mamelodi Sundowns extended their lead at the top of the PSL log standings and they are sitting comfortably at the top after beating Orlando Pirates away from home. They are followed by Stellenbosch FC in second place and Supersport United in the third position. Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are always struggling and this season it's still the same thing, the Buccaneers' failure to beat the reigning league champions shows they will compete for second or third place on the league table. The action continues tomorrow with two games that will be played tomorrow and Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to get a win against Marumo Gallants after two consecutive losses against Royal AM and Mamelodi Sundowns. Royal AM will be looking to continue their rich form against TS Galaxy. Image credit: Twitter
