Chiefs Set To Face Sundowns In Engen Knockout Challenge Final.
Kaizer Chiefs U19 football squad was phenomenal in the Engen Knockout Challenge delivering stellar performances throughout the competition to reach the final which is scheduled to take place this Sunday afternoon.
The U19 side also played their semi final fixture on Sunday against School of Excellence which got them the spot in the final after a 2-0 win with a brace by Wandile Dube.
The young Chiefs stars will be taking on Sundowns U19 side in the final of the competition. Sundowns is no easy opponent and Chiefs knows that, but both clubs will have to give it their all to win the tournament.
Mamelodi Sundowns U19 squad reached the final after a 3-2 win against SuperSport United in the semi-finals after a penalty shootout. The match ended in a 1-1 draw which led to penalties.
The final will commence on Sunday 3 July, 15:30.
Kaizer Chiefs who ended every match in a win without penalties would hope to go unbeaten, but Sundowns stand an equal chance of winning.
The final will be very entertaining and this will open doors for the young players as scouts could be watching.
