OPINION: Why Rangnick might not be in charge of United's next League game against Arsenal

ARTICLE SOURCE: MY OPINION

The wait has finally come to an end. Ralf Rangnick, the German legend who is credited with inventing Gegenpressing and teaching Thomas Tuchel and Jurgen Klopp the art of football, has finally been named as the Red Devils' Interim Manager. The club's leadership role has been offered to the Germany international till the end of the season, and he has accepted.

Following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's departure after Watford hammered the Red Devils 4-1 at Vicarage Road, Michael Carrick was named Caretaker Manager of the Club while they look for a long-term option.

Michael Carrick has been fairly impressive for a new Manager; at the very least, he hasn't lost a match. He's played against Villarreal and Chelsea and has never lost a match. United owes him their place in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 to him.

While it would be fascinating to see what Michael Carrick can achieve for United, the club does not have the resources to provide an inexperienced manager the opportunity to develop expertise.

United's next game is a league match against an in-form Arsenal, following a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. On Thursday, the Red Devils will face the Gunners at Old Trafford.

While Ralf Rangnick may be eager to meet his new teammates and get started at the Theatre of Dreams, his arrival in the UK could be delayed, and he may not even be available for the match against Arsenal.

According to Metro UK, Ralf Rangnick is failed to arrive at his new workplace due to a visa issue, and he may not be present for the match versus Arsenal.

If Ralf Rangnick does not arrive in time for the showdown against Mikel Arteta, Michael Carrick may have to stay in his current role as Caretaker Manager, according to the Media Publication.
