Coach of Al Ahly makes pledge following last defeat

After losing to rivals Zamalek in the Egypt Cup final on Thursday night, Al Ahly coach Ricardo Soares made a commitment.

The White Knights defeated the Red Devils 2-1 to win their 28th trophy in the process.

Mohamed Sherif, a fellow Al Ahly forwards who was injured in the first half, is still out with the same injury as Percy Tau.

The Al Ahly coach asserts that after the squad recovers from its injury issues, opponents will once more be afraid of them.

As reported by KingFut, Soares remarked, "We are obviously very upset, but the most important thing is to move forwards. Injuries hinder the team's progress, and we are trying to avoid them as much as we can.

The squad is trying to establish its identity, but the situation is challenging due to injuries and the packed schedule of games.

He continued, "I just need some time, and I swear to make all teams dread Al Ahly once more.
