We often tend to allow our downfalls to be the reason why we are not succeeding in life . But unlike many other people out there who allows their conditions to defines who they are, Mathula Dlamini surely made a mark in SA cricket sports.
Mathula Dlamini is a 38 years old guy from Cinderella Park. He elaborated that at the age of 24, he always believed his life was on track as he was working two jobs and was able to do anything he wanted .
Dlamini was a horse handler and an assistant horse farrier but then throngs took a complete turn when he was diagnosed with TB meningitis in 2006.
At this point you will under that having a TB during the early 2000 was a complete different story of a disease. Many people who suffered from TB never made it in life , others died on the sport after not being able to recover from the TB even after being in medication.
In 2006 , Dlamini said that his world came crumbling down. He lost his eyesight, and it took him into the dark where he had no control over his life . As a dreamer who never gives up, he showed his enthusiasm by doing the sport he loves which is cricket.
According to him, he think that if he had not gone blind, he wouldn’t have gotten the courage to be able to do the job he is doing today . Today South Africans bowed down to this young amaizing talented man after it was announced that he was shortlisted to play for the national cricket blind team. He explained how fortunate he is and he thank the almighty God for not giving up on him .
We wish you all the best young man, go and show these people and present South Africa. This story of Dlamini teaches us that there is nothing impossible in life, as long you are determined to do put all effort needed to achieve or reach your goals, then you will surely reap what you saw.
