Pitso Mosimane Pays Tribute to South African Football Legend Jomo Sono

The head coach of Al Ahly Pitso Mosimane has paid tribute to a South African football legend Jomo Sono for the role he played in local football.

Sono was handed with a framed Al Ahly jersey as part of Mosimane's appreciation.

Mosimane visited Numerous clubs including Kaizer Chiefs, Sekhukhune United and Cape Town City to hand the clubs a framed Al Ahly Jersey.

Sono has played a huge part in developing South African players and Mosimane is among of the players that were developed by Sono.

Sono is also owner of Jomo Cosmos, a football club that plays in the Gladafrica Championship.

Pitso together with his agency MT Sports Management decided to honour Sono for discovering Mosimane as a player when he was still young.

Mosimane also extended his gratitude to Sono for discovering his career, as Sono is well known for identifying young talented players and develop them.

"I don't know where my life would be had I not been identified by Mr Sono," said Mosimane on his official Twitter account.

Mosimane is currently on top of the Egyptian Premier League after winning the six opening games.
