Malema and supporters threatens to sleep at the FNB Stadium if this is not done by the government


The Ecomic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema continues with numerous talking points that affects the citizens of South Africa. This has become his specialty as he feels that he's the voice of the voiceless. As he’s not afraid to speak his truth and stand firm for what he believes in which has made him a famous politician over the years. This time around Malema has been addressing the issue surrounding the football sphere within the country which has affect the sport in all different levels. As he can't understand the reasons behind the government not allowing fans back at the stadiums.

This time around he has taken to the streets to voice out the frustrations that sports lovers are currently experiencing, including the clubs, players and governing bodies of football. Hence, he has given the government time until next to think about the proposal of opening stadiums for supporters to watch live games. Otherwise they will regret their decision if stadium are not allowed to accept a certain amount of crowd. "So EFF fighters let's not get tired we are here today to demand that if stadiums are not reopened in a week, we are going to the SAFA offices... Who said stadiums kill people?... That's the only signs we can use, in the absence of that they are lying to us... We want our economy opened, we want our small surviving jobs back because we want to feed our families," said Malema addressing the protestors in Pretoria.

The outspoken politician was accompanied by over 2000 fans as they matched to for the stadiums to allows supporters back. Otherwise if the government doesn't listen to their queries then they will sleep at the FNB Stadium. Supporters were prohibited from the stadiums due to the high number of Covid-19 infections. "We are going to try to find our way to the FNB Stadium and sleep inside the stadium and wake up tomorrow and tell them we are still alive," Malema said Malema when addressing the hoards of fans in Pretoria on Thursday.
