Kaizer Chiefs have made the first move to sign Sipho Mbule ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns?

By the passing of each day the reports and speculation linking Sipho Mbule with a move away from SuperSport United continue to gather pace as it is looking more and more likely that he will be finally leaving Matsatsantsa either now or at the end of the seaon

Although SuperSport United have been rather adamant in their stance throughout the whole Sipho Mbule saga that if they were to sell the talented midfield maestro than they would prefer to sell him to an overseas based club and there are reasons for that

And one of them will be that unlike the clubs who are interested in signing Sipho Mbule here in South African Football an overseas based club would pay more money for Sipho Mbule and that would benefit SuperSport United considering they don't have such a good financial situation

And here in the country the two clubs who have been chasing Sipho Mbule consistently have been both Mamelodi Sundowns and of course Kaizer Chiefs as Sipho Mbule has established himself as one of the best midfielders in South Africa

Although recent reports have suggested that Mamelodi Sundowns are probably the club that are the closest to signing Sipho Mbule considering more than any other club in the DSTV Premiership they have the funds to pay the high wages, transfer fees and agent commission fees

Then again speculation has also emerged that considering Mamelodi Sundowns are very much interested in signing Sipho Mbule and have the necessary resources to do so the player is thought to prefer a move to Kaizer Chiefs

And subsequently after that it has also now been revealed by Sipho Mbule's agent Mike Maakab that Kaizer Chiefs have now made a bid for Sipho Mbule although Mamelodi Sundowns are leading the race for his signature

It is indeed turning out to be a very interesting race between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns to sign Sipho Mbule from SuperSport United and it will also be extremely interesting to see who will come out on top at the end of the day between both clubs
