When most footballers retire from the beautiful game they often downgrade from their expensive cars to more affordable ones. One of the key reasons is that a high end car is expensive to maintain as in most instances a pay check at the end of the month is not guaranteed. In the case of former Mamelodi Sundowns captain Esrom Nyandoro the situation is different, even post retirement he still drive around in style.
Esrom Nyandoro is without a doubt one the best box to box midfielders we have had in the PSL era. He is also one of the most successful Zimbabwean exports to South African shores in the past decade. Having rubbed shoulders with some of the best footballers in the continent, it is without a doubt that even during his playing days he was afforded a lucrative salary.
Not to dwell too much into Nyandoro's illustrious football career but out of curiosity we have since decided to learn more about his car collection in recent years post retirement. The Bulawayo born ex-footballer is the proud owner of a Jeep Grand Cherokee, one of the most popular SUV cars in the country. According to the manufacturer's website the car is priced between R807 900 and R1 348 900.
As if that was not enough, Nyandoro can also been seen driving around in a classy white Mercedes Benz. Like most successful ex-footballers he usually takes to Instagram to flaunt his car collection, leaving many of us inspired. With reports stating that he is still part of the Mamelodi Sundowns family even post retirement it is without that money is not an object to him.
As one of the most decorated captains in the history of Mamelodi Sundowns, in his ten year stay he went to make over 200 appearances in the colours of the Pretoria based outfit.
