Orlando Pirates legendary goalkeeper Innocent Mayoyo believes Kaizer Chiefs should give third-choice goal minder Bruce Bvuma a chance.
The 25 year old has been playing second fiddle to senior goalkeepers Itumeleng Khune and Daniel Akpeyi.
According to Mayoyo he feels Kaizer Chiefs should give Bruce Bvuma a chance in goal in order to build for the next season. He further states that both Khune and Akpeyi must not be made scapegoats following the teams recent poor run.
With the current goalkeeping crisis at Naturena, Bvuma could be given a chance when his side go head to head against Supersport United today at the FNB Stadium. Mayoyo further states the Chiefs goalkeepers are currently making mistakes but overall the team is also struggling and with a struggling team the goalkeeper will always be exposed.
Furthermore, he states that Gavin Hunt's mandate was to build for the future and why not start now by initiating these changes in the goalkeeping department. Mayoyo believes Khune and Akpeyi have been given opportunities to prove themselves but they are not showing any improvement and now an opportunity show be given to Bvuma.
