Former Orlando Pirates Striker Thamsanqa Aubrey Gabuza is a South African well-known professional football player who is now playing for the Pretoria based side SuperSport United. The one and only Ganda_Ganda, a nickname that he was given by the Orlando Pirates fans!
Gabuza was born in Newcastle, yes in Newcastle. That's a place located in KZN where he grew up. He kick started his career with Tornado Football Club, Maritzburg city and Abaqulusi.
Back in 2008 Gandaganda had to join Durban stars, a team that is now playing in the Vodacom league in KwaZulu-Natal. In 2009 he moved to a PSL side by joining Abafana Besthende the Lamontville Golden Arrows. He played for four years at the club, with 88 appearances and netting 23 goals.
Gabuza will be turning 33-year this year, He got a surprise move to Orlando Pirates Football Club in 2013. Unfortunately things did not happen as planned as Gabuza failed to produce some goal for the buccaneers. There was so much pressure, as he ended up struggling in Soweto. He also got a surprise move away from the Buccaneers as he signed for Supersports United after netting just 8 goals in 71 appearances for Pirates. Check out the pictures of Thamsanqa Gabuza:
