Former Pirates star shows signs of being sick

Shocking images showing a frail Tendai Ndoro have raised health concerns for the former Orlando Pirates forward. Ndoro trained with the second division Simba Bhora, which belongs to a relative of Simba Ndoro

Now shocking images of the former Pirates star have emerged, with reports of a mysterious illness causing the forward's weight loss.

"I am related to Tendai, we are both Ndoros, so he is on the team while he is still recovering from an illness," Simba Ndoro told the Zimbabwean newspaper The Herald.

“Tendai is in the camp because I had a feeling that he needed a place to relax, since he has not been feeling well lately.

“You can relax in the camp and as a team we have a team doctor who supports you with the evaluation.

“Tendai is an experienced player that all teams want on board when he's in top form, so we can't rule out his chances of having him on our books.

"He has a lot of experience and when he has fully recovered we will start there, but at the moment we only support him as one of us," Simba Ndoro is quoted.

Ndoro (36) played for teams like Mpumalanga Black Aces, Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town and Highlands Park during his time at PSL.

He was most recently at PSL for Highlands Park and last January he faced the Kaizer Chiefs for the last time when he played the first 45 minutes before being eliminated.

In May last year, the North Lions announced the departure of the Zimbabwean forward who has not been heard from in football circles since.

During his heyday, Ndoro was a popular figure on social media, but he has since disappeared from all social media platforms.

This is very sad news and this actually makes the fans very sad, because he is loved by many people.
