Chiefs update: SuperSport boss reveals that Mbule will not be sold to Amakhosi

The whole Sipho Mbule situation is getting interesting by the day as the clubs are back and forth trying to lure him to their respective camps. In the past seasons Mamelodi Sundowns have shown interests in signing Mbule as they’re planning on introducing young players and mixed with experienced stars. It looks Downs wants to continue with signing on form highly-rated players on their squad. Without any doubt, Sundowns have been working on maintaining their dominance and they felt that Mbule's expertise will be necessary at Chloorkop.

However, Kaizer Chiefs didn't hold back too as they've shown that they want to sign the Bafana Bafana star as they have a spot for him in the starting eleven. Mbule was believed to be destined to move to Naturena, because he had a better chance of being in starting line up. Unlike Sundowns whereby he will have to compete three to four other players for his position and that's challenging if he's still new to the surroundings. Nevertheless, there was excitement within Chiefs fans after Mbule's agent Mike. Makaab revealed that the Soweto giants have tabled an offer for his services. This was more than enough for the fans to think that they will get to see Mbule in Chiefs colours this January transfer window. Oh well, the Phefeni Glamour Boys supporters will have to wait when it comes to Mbule's transfer deal. As it looks like it won't occur this month and they will have to keep on probing until something happens. “Chiefs have not tabled an offer for him and even if they did, he is not for sale to any club at all this season. I can’t comment on what his agent is quoted saying," said Matthews speaking to

According to the SuperSport United boss Stan Matthews, Mbule is going anywhere and won't be sold to Chiefs. He stated media shouldn't believe Makaab's words but they should let Mbule's form do the talking on the pitch. "You will have to ask him because all I told him was that Sipho is not for sale to any club until he shines again for SuperSport United.... Let his performances do the talking instead of his agent," said Matthews speaking to
