According to the latest reports, Kaizer Chiefs are interested in signing Bongani Zungu and have spoken with the player's agent.Bongani Zungu's agreement in France expires in June of next year, and Kaizer Chiefs have struggled in the middle of the park this campaign, forcing the club to utilize the crowned defense of the league campaign, Njabulo Ngcobo, in the middle.
Bongani Zungu has continued to struggle for regular game time for Amiens elsewhere in the Ligue 2 division this summer. His manager has already mocked Zungu, trying to claim the latter has gained some weight and is not in peak physical condition.
"I still don't understand how Kaizer Chiefs management is planning on how to boost Kaizer Chiefs. I'm saying this because they are always out there trying to acquire the signatures of all the former Mamelodi Sundowns players to bring them to the Naturena based camp. They have to promote the younger players who are playing in our MDC team and giving them the proper game time so that they can showcase their talents. I don't think this thing of signing all the rejected overseas players will work for us.
As a Mamelodi Sundowns fan, I think Kaizer Chiefs have finally turned into a joke. I mean, every player that has performed well at Mamelodi Sundowns before getting a European deal wants to bring them into their team after being released by their previous one. Do you think they were going to release them if they were in their best form? "Kaizer Chiefs are one of the largest brands in South Africa and they have to take their brand so seriously and stop buying the rejects who won't even last them 4 years." Facebook followers stated.
With Kaizer Chiefs also lobbying for Bongani Zungu to come on loan in the forthcoming period, Amakhosi supporters may expect to see Bongani Zungu's magnificence next year. SSnews attempted to contact Zungu's representative for a comment on the situation, but the telephone continued to ring without being answered.
Do you think it's going to be a good idea for the Kaizer Chiefs to pounce on Bongani Zungu? Leave your views and thoughts in the comment section.
