Kaizer Chiefs are pushing to sign former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu?

Since this particular season has started it has been pretty much clear that Kaizer Chiefs are in desparate need for a top class midfielder as it has been apparent in most games

Because at this particular moment Kaizer Chiefs have been relying quite heavily on the services of Phatutshedzo Nange and Cole Alexander who are both defenisve midfielders by trade

And in that sense although they do offer quite a contribution offensively to how Kaizer Chiefs attack they main duty is to protect the back four as they have looked very much vaunerable in most cases this season

The other creative midfielder Kaizer Chiefs have in their ranks has been the revelation of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo who last season announced himself in style to the South African Football public under Gavin Hunt

But this season Kaizer Chiefs have a new coach who seems not to quite trust and believe in the abilities of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo as even if the midfielder is fit and ready to play he has not been selected as much by the Amakhosi coach

Also that has also sparked rumors and reports of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo now seeking a move overseas as he has a lot of interest there from a few clubs meaning his time at Kaizer Chiefs might be coming to an end

That would leave quite a hole in the Kaizer Chiefs midfield as Nkosingiphile Ngcobo was the brightest spark they had in that particular position meaning Amakhosi would now need a replacement for his services as well

Which is why according to & courtesy of reports from SoccerLaduma Kaizer Chiefs have now been linked with making a potential move for former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu

It is worth noting as well that currently Bongani Zungu has been facing quite a number of problems at his current club Amiens as he has not been playing regularly there this season

For Kaizer Chiefs this might be the missing piece in the puzzle they have been looking for in order for them to go to the next level
