“I do get free extra-time when I was coaching Kaizer Chiefs, But now I don’t get” Hunt Reveals

Chippa United mentor Gavin Hunt is very much aware he's in a test of skill and endurance to begin getting results for the Gqeberha-based DStv Premiership strugglers.

With club executive Siviwe 'Chippa' Mpengesi not bashful in terminating mentors – having excused a fantastic 30 in the beyond 11 years – there's no question that Hunt's employer stability is everything except secure, particularly considering the beginning the Chili Boys have made to the flow association season.

The previous Bidvest Wits, SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs mentor got the feared demonstration of approval last week from Mpengesi.

Saturday's 4-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs on his re-visitation of the FNB Stadium unquestionably never really helped his motivation.

Gavin Hunt is arguing for more opportunity to get things all together and even ventured to make maybe the boldest case this season – that with the right players Chippa United can win the association!

"I realize that a club like [Chippa United] can win the association. You will imagine that I am insane to say this. Yet, in the event that we get the players, we can win the association title. We can do it, however we need time. Do I have time here? No, I don't think so," said Hunt.

Chippa United are presently fourteenth in the 16-group log with only five focuses after seven matches.

They have just scored three objectives in those matches while yielding 10.

Chippa United will have Swallows in their next DStv Premiership experience on Sunday, 24 October.

Start up is booked for 15:30
