Image: Zungu, Mbule, Mntambo, Lepasa and Sam spotted playing indoor football together

The majority of South African football clubs are expected to return for pre-season during the first week of July 2022 to prepare for the season 2022/2023, which is set to be one of the most competitive seasons the top tier of South African football has seen in the last ten seasons.

The players in South Africa may be enjoying the off-season holidays but they don't shy away from the game that has made them what they are today.

Orlando Pirates Football Club trio of Nkanyiso Zungu, Zakhele Lepasa, and Bongani Sam, Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club new signing, Sipho Mbule, and Sekhukhune United Football Club bound star, Linda Mntambo have found a way a to stay active and play competitive football during this off-season period.

For the last few weeks, most of the Premier Soccer League players have been spotted playing indoor football together to keep fit and play competitive football during this pre-season period.

Yesterday the players mentioned above alongside eight other men formed two teams that played against each other in what was their last game together, as most of them are set to return to their respective clubs for preseason.

The players took a picture after the game which Lepasa shared on his Instagram story, @zakhelelepasa and the players looked happy and ready for the challenges ahead of them.

And again their competitive nature comes into play despite being on holiday, as the only thing they know is to compete and work hard to come out of the matches they play in victories.

Most of these players have found getting sometime last season hard, and they will be looking at their experiences in indoor football to do enough to be given more chances this upcoming season.

But we have to wait for the new season to see whether they managed to live up to their expectations.
