Assessment: This Is How Kaizer Chiefs Will Line Up Next Season

Following the acquisitions of Keagan Dolly and Cole Alexandra by Kaizer Chiefs, a new debate has erupted over how the Amakhosi should prepare for the upcoming season.

Goalkeeper: Bruce Bvuma-Despite the fact that he would most likely serve as a back-up to the youthful Bvuma next season, the Amakhosi have extended the contract of seasoned goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune for another two years. Brendon Petersen, a former Wits goalkeeper, has also joined the Chiefs' defense, which already comprises Nigerian international Daniel Akpeyi as the starting goalkeeper.

Reeve Frosler is a right back in the National Football League. Regardless of whether there is still some debate about Frosler's best position, given his Wits and junior public group exhibitions, he is considered the strongest candidate for returning to the United States immediately. Furthermore, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, a former Bafana Bafana international, was granted a contractual extension on Tuesday in order to provide needed reinforcement at right and focus guard.

There will be a strong desire to return fresh additions such as Cardoso and Ngcobo to focus. Austin Dube and Njabulo Ngcobo are both capable focus backs, but knowing Baxter, he'll need to pair one of them with one of Daniel Cardoso or Eric Mathoho at the very least.

With Yagan Sasman having been offered to Swallows FC and Philani Zulu having been released from his contract, the competition for the left back position will be between rookies Mabiliso and Hlanti...

Phathutshedzo Nange, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, and Cole Alexander, all of whom play for the same club, make up the midfield three. With such high expectations for Alexandra.
