Royal AM Moved Above Kaizer Chiefs To 2nd Place On The PSL Log Standings

It was time for another derby in the shores of South Africa and this time it was a new KZN derby between the high flying PSL rookies Royal AM and struggling PSL season campaigners Amazulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 4 December. The spice people were looking to move above the mighty Amakhosi into 2nd position on the PSL log standings and they did with a draw. The PSL match was live on the league's official TV broadcaster, Supersport PSL (DStv 203) and a lot of people have been following Royal AM FC, because of their rich status and good football on the soccer pitch. Royal AM needed a draw or win in their PSL encounter against Amazulu to move to second position on the PSL log table. Royal AM have managed to accumulate 22 points in 13 league games this season, while Kaizer Chiefs also have 22 points with the same number of league games as Royal AM. The only difference between Royal AM and Kaizer Chiefs is goal difference. The Spice people have 6 goal difference, while Amakhosi have 4 goal difference. Amazulu FC are experiencing a terrible season to say the most and a major problem in the back line is the root to their disastrous season. Amazulu FC sit on 9th position on the PSL log standings and they have managed to accumulate 18 points from a staggering 14 league games this season. Image credit:
