A plethora of foreign born world class strikers have graced the PSL more especially in the past decade.

In the past few years Serbian International Samir Nurkovic has established himself as one of the most lethal and potent foreign born attackers to ever grace the PSL. In his debut season the Kazier Chiefs jersey number 9 enjoyed a purple patch where he went to score 13 goals in the league.
In the current ongoing 2021/22 DStv Premiership season "Kokota Piano" as he is affectionately known as went through one of the most difficult patches in his career as a result of injuries. Almost a week ago the 29 year old Tutin born footballer whose contract at Kazier Chiefs is set to expire in June 2022 made headlines across the country when he joined their arch rivals Royal AM.
Going into matchday 30 the newly signed Royal AM striker might have played his final match for Kazier Chiefs over the weekend during his club's 1-0 victory against Sekhukhune United FC. On Wednesday Amakhosi through their social media accounts recently released a club statement in connection with their injury update ahead of their match against relegation threatened Swallows FC.
According to the club statement Samir Nurkovic is one of the key figures at his club who is going to be sidelined as he is nursing an injury. With that much said it is safe to say that Samir Nurkovic's era at Kaizer Chiefs has officially come to an end as he is set to join the Durban based outfit next season.
According to his player profile on 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘵 since joining the Naturena based outfit in the 2019/20 DStv Premiership season, Samir Nurkovic had the privilege of making 78 appearances in the colours of Kazier Chiefs and in turn scoring 21 goals in all competitions.
