Sundowns set to decide on Sibusiso Vilakazi amid interest from Chiefs

Some interesting developing news concerning one of the highly rated South African midfielders, Sibusiso Vilakazi has recently reaurfaced. According to reports Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly made a decision on the 32 year old Vilakazi as the transfer window is coming to a near. It's no secret that Vilakazi has been struggling at Masandawana, whether it was due to lack of game time or injuries, the former Bafana Bafana star failed to live up to his expectations at Sundowns.

With the recent struggles that Villa endured with Masandawana this may force the coin to end up parting ways with him so that he can try new opportunities elsewhere, with that being said Kaizer Chiefs could be the destination where Vilakazi may land to as there had been interest from the Soweto giants for Vilakazi since from the days he was still a Bidvest Wits player, and even recently during the January transfer window.

The big question some people may ask is where or not he will be suitable for the Kaizer Chiefs of Arthur Zwane considering the fact that they will be filled with so many youngsters, and Sibusiso Vilakazi is over the age of 30 years, and to some Kaizer Chiefs supporters this may not be a wise move to be considered by the club management as he snubbed them when he was at his peak for Sundowns.

As things stand, reports indicate that Kaizer Chiefs have not yet formally approached the player and his representatives and his future in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has not yet been decided, nevertheless if Kaizer Chiefs snoozed they may lose the 32 year old to the likes of SuperSport United, AmaZulu FC, and the Ambitious Royal AM. Sibusiso Vilakazi might have been the best player for Wits and Sundowns when he was in his twenties, but is he suitable for the newly revamped young Kaizer Chiefs of Arthur Zwane?
