Nkana FC played their latest fixture in the CAF Confederations Cup group stages against Raja Club Athletic at home, and suffered an unfortunate 2-0 defeat to the visiting side. Nkana FC who had the home ground advantage in the match, played a very competitive first half when they managed to hold the the visitors down to a 0-0 draw at the half time break. Unfortunately the second half of the match did not go very well for the home side as Raja Club Athletic cooked up two incredible goals which won them all three points in the match. Nkana's loss keeps them in the bottom place spot in Group D without any points as they have conceded 5 goals in two matches. Namungo is in third in the group also without any points after two matches played as they have conceded 3 goals. Raja Club Athletic is in second with 6 points and Pyramids in first place with 6 points.
Raja Club Athletic opened the scoring in the second half of the match when Soufiane Rahimi scored the opening goal of the match from the penalty spot in the 47th minute of the match to lead at 1-0. Raja Athletic Club extended their lead to 2-0 when Noah Sadaoui scored in the 87th minute to lead the match. Raja Club Athletic held onto their lead and won the match 2-0 in the end as they picked up all three points from their away match.
