South Africa moves up in the latest FIFA rankings

South African national team has moved up in the latest FIFA rankings, this is after their impressive form in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying round.

The country tops group G of the African FIFA World Cup qualifies with 10 points from 4 games and leads second-placed Ghana by just a point with 2 games left to play.

South Africa is ranked in 66th place moving seven places up and ranked in the 12th place in the African continent which they will move to the top 10 if they win the group G of the World Cup qualifier.

In their first game, they drew against Zimbabwe, defeated Ghana 1-0 at home, then won two games against Ethiopia.

South Africa faces neighbor Zimbabwe on the 11th of November at home with their last game ending in a draw, then on the 14th of November, they face Ghana in an away match.
