Zinnbauer Reacts to Nedbank Cup Defeat 'Sundowns are too Good'

The head Coach of Orlando Pirates Josef Zinnbauer have reacted after his team lost to Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Buccaneers were knocked out of the Nedbank cup tournament following a 4-1 defeat by Sundowns.

Zinnbauer felt like his side could not match the performance of the Brazilians.

Talking after the game Zinnbauer admitted that his side did not do enough to win the game and the outcomes of the game reflects their performance.

"It's clear the result looks not 100 percent the game but it was not enough today you can win this game," said the German tactician.

He said in the first 10 to 20 minutes they were out of the game and only got a wake up call when they found an equalizer.

He said they had chances to score but they were unlucky.

He added that in the second half they were out of the game again and that's where they conceded a lot of goals.

Zinnbauer concluded that when they tried to get Sundowns on counter attacks the Brazilians were too good to be penetrated.
