Is Itumeleng Khune back on track?

After five month, without an action, the veteran goal keeper, itumeleng khune, is back on the field. Mzansi's number one was chosen by the fan's, to be under the poles when his weekend team, called warriors fc' played against Amabutho fc, last Saturday evening. His great performance on the day, impress the coaches of warriors fc and the kaizer chiefs aswell. Itumeleng khune made some brilliant saves, on the day and that alone will put pressure to his teammate, at the goal keeping department, Daniel akpey. Warriors fc beat Amabutho fc by 2-1and they are going to the finals of Dstv compat cup, to meet coastal united. The big question, after his performance, is the 34 year old ready to take on this season. The time will tell and I'm sure that kaizer chiefs, coach Stuart Baxter, won't hesitate to give him the second chance. He last fixtured on the mtn 8 quarterfinals, when they knocked out by mamelodi sundowns on penalties. Source's: kick-off, Times LIVE, sowetanLIVE, sport 24, soccer laduma, idiski times and FAR post .
