Kaizer Chiefs star player is staying with the club, agent confirms.
The January transfer window are soon to be closed with only a few hours remaining on the clock. While players will possibly be making last minute moves on transfer deadline day, there will be that unlucky few who will be offloaded by their respective clubs.
Kaizer Chiefs youngster Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya is reportedly on Chiefs transfer window list with a possibility of leaving the club in the transfer window before it closes. But it looks now that Ntiya-Ntiya might remain put with Kaizer Chiefs as his agent has now revealed that he is going nowhere.
With Stuart Baxter making his way to Kaizer Chiefs after Gavin Hunt's departure, there were some regular players who were not used as much under Baxter's management as he had his own favourites at the club compared to Hunt's perfect selection.
Stuart Baxter is all about experienced older players, and the younger players suffered under Baxter as they had to fight for game-time. Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya was one of the players who was not one of Baxter's favourites but has started to make regular appearances since November last year.
In November he made an appearance under Stuart Baxter when he featured against Moroka Swallows in a match which Kaizer Chiefs won 3-1. Ntiya-Ntiya also featured the three matches which followed against Sekhukhune United, Royal AM and Maritzburg United under the management of assistant coach Arthur Zwane as Baxter recovered from Covid.
Ntiya-Ntiya has now made regular starts and his agent Jazzman Mahlakgane have now indicated that the player will be staying at Kaizer Chiefs. "Yes, he was placed on the transfer window, but he is now playing", Mahlakgane, who also represents Mamelodi Sundowns star Themba Zwane, told the media. "Ntiya-Ntiya has been playing week in week out. He is contracted to Kaizer Chiefs until 2024".
