The club has been dominating South African football for well over a decade now, and they are looking to take their dominance to Africa, as they have qualified for the Confederation Of African Football(CAF) Champions League the last 10 seasons, only managing to win it once back in 2016.

The Brazilians were in the continental competition last weekend against the Congolese side AS Maniema Union Football Club in the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC), the match ended in a 2 all stalemate thanks to a brace from Themba Zwane, but Masandawana feels that they should have won the match.

With the second leg to be played this weekend, had to play their catch up game in the Dstv Premiership midweek which they won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Gaston Sirino, but they played that match without two notable absentees due to injuries, Themba Zwane and Rivaldo Coetzee were missing due to minor injuries which they had to overcome if they wanted to play in the weekend.

Earlier today their head coach Manqoba Mgqithi, announced that they will have the duo back for the clash that will be played at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria on Saturday. A huge boost for the Brazilians, given that Zwane scored two of their goals the last time the two teams met, while Coetzee has been a crucial part of the team in his new role as a deep-lying playmaker.
