Chiefs Two Reported Targets Scored Against Each Other In Final Match Of The Season

Chiefs Two Reported Targets Scored Against Each Other In Final Match Of The Season.

Kaizer Chiefs ended their season with a 2-2 draw against Moroka Swallows FC at home in what was their final match of the season as they ended the season on 46 points whilst Swallows will be playing in the playoffs against University of Pretoria FC and Cape Town All Stars, as there's still hope to retain their top flight status just like Chippa United did last season.

Kaizer Chiefs has been linked with many reported targets for the current season, but last signed players to their squad last year in July, with no players joining the club in the January transfer window.

Despite not signing any players in January, the club has been linked with interest in a few of the PSL's best players. Chiefs were linked with interest in Marumo Gallants midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Sekhukhune United's Chibuike Ohizu, and the two players scored in their final match of the season as they faced off against each other.

Marumo Gallants hosted Sekhukhune United on matchday 30, and Gallants scored two goals and conceded two goals in the match. Sibeko and Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo scored for Gallants, and Chibuike Ohizu and Nyiko Mobbie scored for Sekhukhune United in the 2-2 draw.

Marumo Gallants ended the season with a 10th place finish on 34 points and Sekhukhune United in the 11th place spot with 33 points. The July transfer window is not far out and the big question is will Kaizer Chiefs be signing some of their reported targets.
