With Sifiso Hlanti and Sibusiso Mabiliso coming in as Amakhosi’s new recruits this season, the 23-year-old Mashiane has located it tough to get into Baxter’s beginning line-up, or even come off the bench.
Baxter explained why the Amakhosi product is yet to feature for the Soweto giants this term.
“He is doing thoroughly. He is working very tough. The way we played this nighttime, Happy might probable be competing with Sifiso. As it turned into, we’ve got Mabiliso. We had sufficient attacking gamers on the sector. We had Khama, Samir, Keagan, Lebo. At this moment, they're more flexible, they give us extra flexibility than Happy,” Baxter informed media after his side’s 2-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Stadium on Sunday nighttime.
“Happy is working very hard and I am thrilled with him. He’s got to push on now and watch for his chance. When his chance comes, he has to take it.”
