Kaizer Chiefs Right Back Reeve Frosler has asked for more patience from fans following his side’s slow and challenging start to the DStv Premiership campaign and gave an insight how the dressing room are feeling ahead of facing AmaZulu this weekend.
Benni McCarthy’s men are currently occupying the 7th spot on the log table, with 6 points, and one point ahead of Kaizer Chiefs, who are in the 13th spot. Usuthu will welcome the Glamour Boys in Durban in the DStv Premiership on Saturday, and Reeve Frosler says that he is expecting an interesting game against Benni McCarthy’s outfit.
“I have not seen much of them this season,” Frosler told the club’s media department.
“But from what we know from AmaZulu, they are not a bad team, they did well, I think they are in the Champions League at the moment, preliminary rounds, so that is good for them.
"It’s gonna be another interesting game for us come Saturday afternoon.”
The defender who just returned to action under Baxter says that while they are not happy with their start to the season, things will improve and there have only been five games played so far.
“I am very honest, the season is long, the season is not just 5 games, the season is 30 games, so just got to be patient and just keep getting the small things right,”.
“Eventually we will add all the small things and get better, and hopefully perform at our best level soon.”
The Gqeberha-born pinpoint crosser added that the mood in the dressing room is very positive, and they are looking to keep improving every game.
“The guys are positive in the dressing room, We are doing okay, we would like to get better, obviously the discussion is how we can get better, how we can do better, how we can get the best out of each other."
“But the dressing room is good, everyone’s a positive in the dressing room, as we can get better throughout the season.”
Kaizer Chiefs will look to end their 3 match winless run when they visit AmaZulu FC on Saturday.
