Thabo "Festival" Matlaba is one of the most talented South African professional football players who play as a full-back.

The former Bafana Bafana defender spent most of his football career at the former MTN8 champions Orlando Pirates Football Club.
He did pretty well for himself and also for the club while he was still wearing the black and white jersey.
During his days, the 33-year old was considered as one of the best left back players in the Premier Soccer League. He was mentioned with the likes of Tsepo Masilela and Tebogo Langermam, who were also doing extremely well in that position by that time.
Festival is now playing for the Soweto based side, Swallows Football Club.
He is playing a major role in the club in making sure that they do not get relegated as they were once the candidates.
