Former Orlando Pirates Star believes the club can win a treble this season.
Benson Mhlongo formed a part of Pirates team that won double treble almost a decade ago.
He has backed Pirates to win a treble this season as he believes it is possible.
The Buccaneers have already won the MTN8 cup under the leadership of Josef Zinnbauer.
There are still 3 trophies left to play for this season, Nedbank Cup, DStv Premiership and CAF confederations Cup.
Pirates are four points behind Mamelodi Sundowns who are leading the log table, but Mhlongo believes it will not come as a surprise if the Buccaneers go all the way and win the league.
"It is possible, okay where was Sundowns when they won the top eight," he said.
He added that it is possible for Pirates to win other trophies because almost all the teams that they are competing with them were there in the top 8 and still they won it.
Therefore Pirates winning the MTN8 trophy it is not questionable.
Pirates will visit Chippa United this evening for their league game, Kickoff at 17:00.
