With the transitional football head coach, Stuart Baxter prefers requiring a mobile striker, Khama Billiat was deployed to play that role, and for most of the time, he seemed out of place while an out and out striker Samir Nurkovic who is currently out injured played as a left-wing forward.

Despite being reported that Baxter brushed aside the chance of signing the in-form Royal Andile Mpisane Football Club striker Victor Letsoalo, it is reported that the club is interested in Letsoalo and Lamontville Golden Arrows Football Club star striker Knox Mutizwa.

Both players are currently on national duties representing their countries South Africa and Zimbabwe in the 2020 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, where they are in the same group with Ghana and Ethiopia.

They were both in action yesterday for their countries with Letsoalo coming as the first-half substitution for Bafana Bafana in their 3 - 1 victory over Ethiopia, while Mutizwa played the entire 90 minutes for Zimbabwe as they went down 3 - 1 to Ghana.

Letsoalo(29) is currently the joint leading goalscorer in DSTV Premiership, with Peter Shalulile on five goals, and has a year left on his contract with his club Royal AM and Chiefs will be looking to lure him back to Naturena.

While the 27-year-old Mutizwa who is Golden Arrows all-time leading goalscorer has always expressed his desire to one day play for Chiefs.

The two strikers will add the quality Chiefs lack in the striking department and Chiefs should go hard for them.
