Bafana striker shines in France

Troyes centre forward won a penalty and calmly converted it to inspire a 2-0 victory over Bordeaux in a Ligue 1 game as reported on www.soccerladuma.co.za.

He came off the bench in the 64th minute with his side leading 1-0, the big burly striker seems to have finally settled down at Troyes after he made the loan move from his parent club Strasbourg Alcase.

The goal will showly boost his confidence going forward and it will put him up for a national team call up when Bafana Bafana come up against world champions France in an international friendly.

The last time he played for Bafana was in 2019 against Sudan in a 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifiers, when yhe current Kaizer Chiefs head coach was still at the helm of the South African senior national team hot seat.

Next up Troyes come up against Moses Simon's Nantes on the 12th of this month.
