Two Khosi Players Make The List As The Golden Boot Race Toughens

As the football season entered its seventh week in the DStv Premiership, the race for the golden boot is already looking tough. However it's too early to conclude on who will take the award home by May next year since about 23 league matches are yet to be played. But for the fun of it, let's see, who are the dark horses and who are not.

At the time being and as expected, Peter Shalulile of Mamelodi Sundowns is topping the goal scoring charts alongside Royal AM's Victor Letsoalo both tied at 5 goals apiece. An impressive start considering both have played only six league games and even more outstanding for Victor Letsoalo particularly taking into consideration that Royal AM's are just a promoted team from Gladafrica championship.

The Soweto giants had some of their players each making the chart with Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat at 3 goals and 2 goals respectively. Pirates would boast of Tshegofatso Mabasa and Goodman Mosele who had two goals each.
