A two times Olympic champion Caster Semenya was in court recently, and it was not to fight for a ride to raise as a women despite having a high level of a male hormone testosterone .It seems it not only while running that the athlete enjoys speed even in the high way.
News24 reported that, Caster Semenya was arrested for driving recklessly on the N14 high way in the little town area in Centurion. The athlete was granted bail by the magistrate in Pretoria the following day after her arrest, and she was required to pay a bail of R500.
But that is not the end of the story, the Gauteng spokesperson for the National Prosecution Authority revealed that will have to return to court and she will have to do some community service for her crime. She pleaded guilty to the charge after she was assessed a suitable division programme meant to address the offense whilst the certain the court has given which is 50 hours of community service, Lumka said.
The case has been postponed to the 26 of August, if Caster does her community service work, the charge will be dropped and she will not have a criminal record.
