According to Calciomercato, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is mulling a bid to capture Napoli's Victor Osimhen.
The Ligue 1 team is said to be considering offering Mauro Icardi in a cash-plus-swap deal for the Nigerian striker.
PSG are eager to unload Icardi, who is in a tumultuous relationship with his wife and agency Wanda-Nara.
They believe Osimhen, who has previously played for Lille in France, is the ideal substitute.
After failing to adjust to Serie A football last season, Osimhen has started this season in good form.
Osimhen moved to Napoli from Lille in 2020 for 81.3 million euros, and despite scoring 10 goals in 24 league games in his first season, more was expected of him.
With eight goals in nine games so far this season, he is finally demonstrating why Napoli paid high price for his services.
Osimhen's two-game suspension will be appealed by Napoli
