Will Pirates end Sundowns undefeated streak

A top-class encounter in the Dstv Premiership when Sea Robbers Orlando Pirates lock horns with league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns at the Orlando stadium 15:00.

Both teams come to the encounter with high confidence after having won their two previous fixtures with high margin goals and have been dominant.

Tsegofatso Mabasa and Peter Shalulile have been grinding goals in their past two games and will be hoping to get on the scoreboard for their team.

Pirates who managed to find their winning formula under caretaker coach Fadlu Davids and Mandla Ncikazi have been doing splendid work in the team as they hope to claim a win in today's fixture.

The Bucs are yet to lose a game in the league and will hope to keep the streak in that position.

Downs have been far dominant in the league as they are yet to concede a goal in the league and remain unbeaten as they seat on top of the log with 10 points.

The Brazilian keeper Dennis Onyango will be hoping to clinch another clean sheet for his side and break the record with several clean sheets in the league.

Richard Ofori is still a missing figure for the Pirates as he is still nursing the injury that he sustained in their defeat against Bafana Bafana during the World Cup qualifier earlier this month.

Siyabonga Mponsthane has been on fine between the goalposts and will hope to register another clean sheet in the league and earn his side maximum points.

All roads lead to Orlando Stadium where the two titans will test their strength of each other, but fans are still prohibited from entering the stadium as they adhere to strict covid 19 regulations.
