Watch: Ex-Chiefs keeper spotted jetting a helicopter with his family

Going towards the end of the 2021/2022 season Kaizer Chiefs Football Club hierarchy hinted that the club would have a squad overhaul when the season ends, and that put the futures of fringe players and the players' contracts were ending at risk of being shown the exit door.

A few days into the June 2022 transfer window market the club started to make some changes to their squads, as a total of nine players were sacked at the club with two more following a few days ago to bring the total to 11 players.

Among those 11 to be released was the Nigerian male senior international, Daniel Akpeyi who joined Amakhosi back in 2018 from Chippa United Football Club, as the 35-year-old's contract with the club came to an end when the season ended.

Outside football, Akpeyi is known for the love he has for his family and God, as the content he always puts on social media is all about soccer, family, and God which is the reason why he is loved this much.

His departure from Chiefs seems to have given him more time on his hands to spend time with his pregnant wife and son, which is something he was not able to do well in the past due to the demand of his work.

Yesterday he shared a video clip on his Instagram story, @danielakpeyi where he was spotted alongside his wife and son jetting a helicopter on their way to their unknown destination.

It is not every day that you find someone hiring and travelling with a helicopter, as it is expensive and sometimes hard to access meaning he must have pulled some strings or spent a lot of money for this to happen.

But what is nice to see is him travelling his family in style, and youngsters could learn a lot from him.
