Chiefs Confirms they will postpone their game?

Following a letter to the Premier Soccer League requesting that their four games be postponed due to an epidemic at their camp, Kaizer Chiefs have issued another statement stating that they would not be hosting Cape Town City on Saturday, November 4th, 2021 as scheduled.

According to a statement released by Amakhosi on their social media platforms and website, the team has 31 confirmed cases of Covid-19, and as a result, all members of the staff who are considered Primary contracts have been ordered to quarantine; otherwise, the team will be unable to host The Citizens.

"In the meanwhile, due to unforeseen circumstances, Kaizer Chiefs must regretfully confirm that the Club will be unable to host the encounter against Cape Town City on Saturday, December 4th at 18:00. At least 31 employees have tested positive for the virus, and the Club has been ordered to confine all players, technical team members, and staff who are considered primary contacts, according to official standards. Unfortunately, in the current situation, this is the only option available, and as a good corporate citizen, I must accept it "The statement is as follows:

Chiefs played Swallows FC without some of their regular players after they reportedly tested positive for Covid-19. It turns out that the camp in Naturena has had more positive tests, and they've also closed down their village as a precaution to avoid spreading the virus.
