Kaizer Chiefs are still far in reaching an agreement with one of their players whose contract is coming.
Amakhosi have a couple of senior players whose contracts will expire at the end of the season and some of those players are already linked with a potential exit.
Indications are that Leonardo Castro could leave the club at the end of the season if the two parties fail to reach an agreement.
The player's contract with Amakhosi is set to expire at the end of the season, June 30.
Reports suggest that the colombian is still yet to get an answer from the club's management whether he stays with the club or not.
There were rumors that the player would not be offered a contract at the beginning of the season.
This comes after Amakhosi did not opt to register the player as a local to save up a foreign spot given the fact that he meets all the necessary requirements to secure a permanent resident permit.
But the player would need a contract that proves he was going to stay in the country for longer than one year.
