Lepasa was suffering from a knee injury for a long period and his doctors didn't even promise him of getting any better to return to the field. Lepasa was deeply hurt when he heard that he won't be able to return to the field any time soon.

Lepasa wrote this message to his followers :

It was a very sad end of my career to announce retirement, I never expected such and it hurts me that I'm forced to retire even if I was still having big dreams in football. I won't force things it will take some time for me to recover and to be honest it won't be now, it gonna take time for me to heal as doctors said so.

I enjoyed playing for Orlando Pirates and I would like to thank them for giving me chance to represent them on the field. I also like to thank supporters for the support they gave me while I was at the field representing their favorite team. It is very sad to say goodbye but unfortunately, this is not my decision to take, God knew that my soccer career will end here. I wish all the best to my team and supporters. Thank you.

Many people were touched by Lepasa's message and they left some motivation to him, to not give up but to put his trust in god. Even though Lepasa was already taking his decision for retiring, his supporters still think that he will bounce back like Happy Jele who suffered a knee injury for a long period. Happy Jele he is now captain of the Orlando Pirates and he is playing beautiful football.
