John Black 'Master Drum' Madumo, the Mamelodi Sundowns' most ardent supporter, was recently reported to have passed away.
Sundowns' entire neighborhood was devastated by his passing. One method that mourners showed their respect to the departed's family was by posting tributes to them on social media.
Unfortunately, Mr. John Black "Master Drum" Madumo passed suddenly at a time when the squad was in critical need of his assistance. This announcement comes just days before Dr. Irvin Khoza's death, two years after the statement was made by the chairman of the Premier Soccer League (PSL)

We are devastated that God took him just as he was ready to resume the activities that he enjoyed the most. The casket that will be used to hold John Black 'Master Drum' Madumo's ashes was displayed.
A football team's colors were used to decorate his coffin in recognition of his support for the Mamelodi Sundowns football team.
