Last week, Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs were embroiled in an embrrassing situation, after their trip to face Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca was botched due to the North Africa's Covid-19 fears, but despite that Chiefs could be set to earn free points after the Confederation Of African Football's stern warning to the Moroccan club.

Earlier today, CAF sent a strong warning to Wydad and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) regarding their Champions League encounter with Chiefs.
Reports by Morrocan reputable news publication LeSport360, the 13 February meeting with Amakhosi which was deferred after the Moroccan authorities denied Chiefs visas citing Covid-19 restrictions.

Earlier this week, the South African football Association (SAFA) sent a bold message to CAF expressing their displeasure at how logistical arrangements were botched, explicitly reminding CAF to enforce their rules if Wydad failed to honour the match, effectively declaring that in such a case Amakhosi should be awarded a 2-0 win.
As per the report, Wydad have been instructed to find a neutral venue where the match could be played by midnight tomorrow, 21 February 2021 at the latest or risk losing three points to Chiefs.

The Moroccans had managed to acquire a neutral venue, this after they had reached an agreement with Egyptian Football Association for the match to be played at the Cairo National Stadium, however, Chiefs could not make the trip due to issues pertaining to visas.

02-22 12:31:34Caf has really failed to show its unbiasness especially when it comes to North African countries clubs, they, without a doubt, openly do things to favor these clubs at all costs and I think it's time Sadec countries stop being part of this spaza shop tournament
