"Check Out Where The New Kaizer Chiefs Signings Will Fit In At The Club."

How Kwinika and Du Preez should be used for the Chiefs.

As a result of Kaizer Chiefs' recent purchase of Ashley Du Preez and Zitha Kwinika from Stellenbosch FC, the following is an examination of how the two players might be utilized in the starting lineup at Naturena.

The Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs made their intentions clear in the transfer market on Monday by confirming a double agreement to sign Ashley Du Preez and Zitha Kwinika from Stellenbosch FC. The two players are scheduled to begin their careers with Kaizer Chiefs on July 1.

The two players are Arthur Zwane's first two additions as the new head coach of the Chiefs, and they have the potential to make an immediate impact in the starting XI for the upcoming season. The Amakhosi will kick off their new season with a matchup against Stellenbosch FC in the MTN quarterfinals.

Kwinika, a product of the Chiefs' youth system, is primarily utilized as a right-sided central defender. He played 22 of his 26 league matches for Stellies in this role, while also appearing as a right-back in the other four of those matches.

However, it is more likely that he will take up a position in the heart of defense alongside either Siyabonga Ngezana or Daniel Cardoso - although Cardoso's future is still uncertain. The Chiefs could utilize him in the latter role, which would allow Njabulo Blom to revert to his natural midfield role.

Du Preez, on the other hand, is a left winger or an inside forward by trade; nevertheless, Stellenbosch utilized him efficiently in the central midfield position for parts of the most recent season, and he scored a career-high nine goals in 29 appearances for the team that is headquartered in the Cape Winelands.

Therefore, the 24-year-old might line up on the left side of the attack for the Chiefs, with Keagan Dolly on the right, and Khama Billiat functioning as a second striker, or at the tip of the spear in place of seasoned forward Bernard Parker.

During the 2021/22 campaign, Du Preez scored more goals for the Amakhosi than any other player, and he has a chance to reach double figures in goals scored the next year thanks to the predicted service he will receive from players like Dolly and Billiat.
