Kaizer Chiefs have been doing extremely bad this season, they finished 2nd last season and have moved from being runners up to the league's whipping boys in the 2020/21 DStv Premiership where every team knows that there is a 90% chance of coming out with maximum points when they are going to play the once feared Amakhosi.
Football analysist and presenter Robert Marawa says Kaizer Chiefs' former coach Ernst Middendorp did much better than his highly rated successor Gavin Hunt who seems to be struggling to build the winning team out of the current crop of players.
Marawa also added that Chiefs' attacker Lebohang Manyama was on top of his game while playing under the current Maritzburg United coach Middendorp, but now he is just a shadow of his former self according to DStv Premiership News.
"In my opinion I think Enerst Middenrdop Is better than Gavin Hunt, for an example take a look at Lebo Manyama when he was under Enerst he used to play his best football and now it's not Manyama we know from Cape Town City and under Enerst, you know why?"
He also added that how players are treated also has an influence towards how he performs on the field as he feels Hunt is not treating his players the way he should be.
"Hunt treatment towards players it's not right, that's why you won't get the best of them."
